A Domino Effect - Wave of Sites Shut Down Sex Ads in Aftermath of Sex Trafficking Vote!

Craigslist, Reddit and other sites shut down Personal Sex Ads following Passage of Sex Trafficking Bill

Backpage.Com Still Hasn't Budged - Their Time Is Almost Up!

"This was nothing short of a David and Goliath victory against the multi billion dollar trafficking industry and the tech giants’ who lobbied against the bill’s passage." - Donna Rice Hughes

Friends, the news could not be better! We've seen a domino effect following the passage of H.R. 1865 (FOSTA) by the U.S. Senate last week.

Websites that have been knowingly facilitating sex trafficking are shutting down 'Personals' sections that have historically been used to sell children and women like chattel for sex! This chain reaction is still taking place with other websites following suit!

This news came within hours of the Senate vote to overwhelmingly pass this landmark legislation (92-2), sending a loud message that the days of using the Internet to sell sex ads exploiting women and children are coming to an end!

We are turning to you for your financial support to undergird Enough Is Enough®'s efforts to drain the cyberswamp and keep the pressure mounted to fight the multi-billion dollar sexploitation industry that is destroying vulnerable lives.

In the past few days alone, sites like Craigslist, Reddit, Erotic Review, and others have taken action and shut down their sex ads! Reddit banned posts like "Escorts," "Male Escorts," "Hookers" and "SugarDaddy" shortly after the bill was passed, posting anupdated disclaimer that "users may not use Reddit to solicit or facilitate any transaction or gift involving certain goods and services," including "paid services involving physical sexual contact."

However, our work is far from done. Anti-trafficking organization Shared Hope International says service providers working with child sex trafficking victims have reported that more than 80 percent of their clients were bought and sold on Backpage.com, and so far, Backpage has NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION to remove its ads! We must keep the pressure up! FOSTA is expected to be signed into law by President Trump as early as this week.

Sex traffickers and pimps see victims as dollar signs - not human beings. This is big business for them, and they'll will go to any means to keep their illegal operations up and running.

Please, donate with your most generous gift to Enough Is Enough® today so that we can continue the pressure  to protect the innocence of vulnerable children and the dignity of everyone. Your donation of any amount will say to traffickers, Backpage.com and the tech giants that bank roll them, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Thanks for always standing with us in the fight!
